WIE Session
WIE (Women in Engineering) Session will be held during the lunch break hour on May 10, and you can bring in your lunch with you. Lunch will NOT be free of charge, and should be purchased/prepared by the participants by themselves. You can order lunch boxes in the Registration System until 13:00 April 4, 2024 Japan time (UTC+9).
Also, a limited number of gifts and delicious Kyoto sweets will be prepared for the participants of this session.

Session Abstract:
The session aims to highlight why D&I (Diversity and Inclusion) activities are crucial for the IEEE community as a whole, shed light on the ongoing initiatives of the D&I Adhoc at WPTCE2024 committee, and explore the potential benefits they offer both now and in the future. Furthermore, we intend to explore the interconnections between D&I activities and other affinity groups such as WIM (Women in Microwave), YP (Young Professionals), and others.
