Booth Spec for SWPC Demonstrations

For the demonstrations and presentations by SWPC finalists, you will be given one booth per team, which has the same booth spec as the WPT Demonstrations by the Advanced Exhibitors.

Instructions for SWPC Demonstrations/Presentations

Each SWPC demonstration booth will come with a power outlet of 100V, 3A. We do not provide additional devices and facilities other than 100V 60Hz AC power supply at the demonstration site.
Please conduct a demonstration of your proposed system following instructions below:
・ 100V/60Hz AC sources will be available to be connected to the Power Transmitter (Tx). Battery powered systems may be used for easy setup, and regulated DC supplies will be provided by request. If batteries/supercapacitors are used at the Power Receiver (Rx), they should be completely discharged before the demonstration.
・ The demonstration space for each team is 2.7m (width) × 2.7m (depth) × 2.1m (height), as you can see in the image above. Your system should not exceed the demonstration space given. Your system also needs to be portable for carrying to the demonstration site at WPTCE2024.
・ EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) standards and safety requirements need to be satisfied outside the demonstration space 2.7m×2.7m×2.1m, and along a power flow path via air or other media if applicable.
・ Comments on the general suitability of the project for the student competition, and any suggestions to the organizing committee.
